Quad Word Guess is a word guessing game with four boards at once. Four five-letter words are hidden, and every guess you type goes on every board that is still open.

Each board marks your guess with clues. Find all four words before your tries run out. Level 1 gives you 10 tries, and a daily puzzle gives everyone the same four words.

How to play

  1. Open the game and start at level 1, or tap Today's puzzle for the daily one.
  2. Type a real five-letter word, or tap the letters on the on-screen keyboard. Press Enter to guess.
  3. Your guess goes on all four boards. A square means the right letter in the right spot, a circle means the letter is in the word but in another spot, and grey means it is not there.
  4. The keyboard is split into four corners, one for each board, so you can see what you know about every word. Letters you already know show faintly on the next row.
  5. Find all four words before the tries run out. The early levels have a few free hints.
  6. Win two puzzles to open the next level. Your game saves, so a reload picks up where you left off.

How many tries do I get?

Level 1 gives you 10 tries for all four words. Higher levels give fewer, down to 8, and the words get less common. The daily puzzle gives 9.

What happens if I run out of tries?

The round ends and shows you all four words. You can start a new puzzle, and you never lose your level or progress.
