Daily Word Search is a new word search puzzle every day. Each one has a theme, and the letters are big and easy to read.

Pick Easy, Medium or Hard. Easy has a small grid with words running across and down, and Hard goes every way, even backwards. Missed a day? The Archive keeps every past puzzle, with a check mark for each level you finished.

How to play

  1. Open the game and choose Today, or open the Archive to play a past day. Pick Easy, Medium or Hard.
  2. Read the list of words, then find each one in the letters.
  3. Drag your finger or the mouse across a word to mark it. Or tap its first letter and then its last. Backwards works too.
  4. Easy is 7 by 7 with 6 words, across and down. Medium is 9 by 9 with 8 words and adds slants. Hard is 11 by 11 with 10 words and goes all 8 ways, even backwards.
  5. Stuck? Tap the bulb to light up the first letter of a word.
  6. Find every word to win, and the game offers the next level. If you give up, the menu can show you the words. On a keyboard, use the arrows to move and press Enter to mark each end.

Is Daily Word Search free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. Daily Word Search plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Drag your finger across a word, or tap its first and last letters. On a computer, use the mouse, or the arrow keys with Enter.

When does the new puzzle come?

A new puzzle comes every day, and it is the same for everyone. Past days wait in the Archive, so you can catch up any time.

Are the words always across and down?

Only on Easy. Medium adds slanted words, and Hard goes all eight ways, including backwards.
