Here is a game you can learn in a minute. Take turns dropping discs into a board seven columns wide. The first to line up four wins, across, up and down, or on a diagonal.
Play the computer on Easy, Normal or Hard, or share one screen with a friend. You are teal and you drop first.
Also called: four in a row online, drop four game, four in a row against the computer, free four in a row game, 4 in a row
How to play
- Open the game and choose the computer (Easy, Normal or Hard) or 2 Players.
- Tap a column to drop your disc. As you hover, the disc, an arrow and a ring show where it will land.
- The disc falls to the lowest empty space in that column. Then it is the other side's turn.
- Line up four of your discs in a row to win. If the board fills up first, it is a draw.
- On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to pick a column and press Enter, Space or Down to drop. Keys 1 to 7 drop straight into a column.
- Made a mistake? Tap Undo, or press U, to take a move back.
Tips
- Start in the middle. The centre column is part of more fours than any other.
- Watch what your drop gives away. A disc you place can let the other side land right on top of it.
- Block any three with an open end. Better still, build two threats at once.
