Scorpion is a solitaire with one deck. Seven cards go into each of seven columns, and three cards wait in a reserve. You build in suit, and you can move any face-up card together with every card on top of it.

The reserve deals just once, one card onto each of the first three columns. When a suit runs from King to Ace, it lifts off to the side. Clear all four suits to win. On Easy, every card is face up and every deal can be won. Medium and Hard turn 12 cards face down.

How to play

Open the game and choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
Build the columns down in the same suit, like the 5 of spades on the 6 of spades.
Move any face-up card, and every card on top of it moves too. Only a King goes into an empty space.
Tap the reserve to deal one card onto each of the first three columns. You can do it once.
When a suit runs from King to Ace in one column, it lifts off and flies to the side with a sparkle.
Clear all four suits to win. Tap Undo, or press U, to take a move back, and Hint, or H, for the next move. D deals the reserve. If no move is left, the game says No more moves.

Tips

Make your moves on the table before you deal the reserve. The reserve covers cards you may still need.
On Medium and Hard, turn over the face-down cards early. Each one opens new moves.
Try to empty a column when you have a King ready. A King is the only card that fills a space.

Can every deal be won?

On Easy and Medium, yes. Both use deals the game can win. Hard gives you any deal, so some cannot be won.

How is Scorpion scored?

You start at 500, lose a point for each move and gain 100 for each suit you clear. Fewer moves make a higher score.
