Rummy 500 is a rummy game where the cards you put down score for you, and the cards left in your hand count against you. You play against one, two or three computer players, and the first to reach 500 points wins.

The discard pile is spread out so you can see every card. You can take a card from deep in the pile, along with every card on top of it, if you can use it. The cards are big and easy to read, on a calm midnight blue table.

How to play

  1. Open the game, choose Easy, Normal or Hard, and choose one, two or three computer players. You get 13 cards against one player, and 7 against two or three.
  2. A meld is three or four cards of the same number, or three or more in a row in one suit. Aces can be low or high in a run, but a run cannot go around the corner.
  3. On your turn, draw from the deck or take from the discard pile. Tap the top card to take it, or a deeper card, which brings every card above it too.
  4. If you take a deeper card, you must put that deepest card into a meld on the same turn.
  5. Tap cards to pick them, then tap Meld. Tap Lay off to add a single card to any meld on the table, yours or anyone's.
  6. End your turn with Discard. When someone has no cards left, the hand ends. Cards put down score, and cards left in hand count against you: aces 15 (1 low in A-2-3), tens and face cards 10, the rest their number. First to 500 wins.
