Pyramid Solitaire is a counting game. Twenty-eight cards sit in a pyramid, and you clear them by pairing cards that add up to 13.

Aces count 1, Jacks 11 and Queens 12. A King is 13 already, so it goes on its own. On Easy, every deal can be won, and the cards that pair with the one you pick glow.

How to play

  1. Open the game and choose Easy, Classic or Hard.
  2. Tap an open card, one with no card on top of it, then tap a partner. The two must add up to 13, like a 6 and a 7.
  3. Aces count 1, Jacks 11 and Queens 12. A King is 13 on its own, so tap it by itself to remove it.
  4. No pairs left? Tap the deck to turn a card onto the waste. The top waste card can pair with an open card.
  5. When the deck runs out, tap it to turn the waste over and go again. Easy and Classic give you 3 passes. Hard gives you 1.
  6. Clear all 28 cards to win. Tap Undo, or press U, to take a move back, and Hint, or H, to see a pair.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap a card, then tap its partner. On a computer, use the mouse, or the arrow keys with Enter or Space.

Can every deal be won?

On Easy, yes. Easy picks deals that following the hint alone can win. Classic gives you any deal, and Hard allows only one pass through the deck, so it is a real test.

How is it scored?

A pair scores 10 and a King scores 5. If you clear the pyramid, you get 25 for each pass you have left, plus 25 more.
