Ludo is a friendly race for the whole family. Roll the die, move your four tokens around the board, and get them all home before anyone else does.

Play against 1, 2 or 3 computer players. You are Blue, at the bottom left. A six lets a token out, and you roll again.

How to play

  1. Open the game, pick 2, 3 or 4 players, and choose Easy, Normal or Hard.
  2. Tap Roll, or tap the die. You need a six to leave base. While no token is out, you get three tries each turn.
  3. Tap a glowing token to move it. A dashed ghost shows where it will land. If only one token can move, it moves by itself.
  4. Land on another color's token to send it back to base. The start squares and the stars are safe, so nobody can be captured there.
  5. A six, a capture, or a token reaching home gives you another roll.
  6. Each token needs the exact count to finish. The first player to get all four tokens home wins.

Is Ludo free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. Ludo Race plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap Roll, then tap a glowing token. On a computer, press Space to roll, then use the arrow keys with Enter, or press 1 to 4, to pick a token.

How many can play?

You play with 1, 2 or 3 computer players, so 2, 3 or 4 at the table. You are Blue.

How hard is the computer?

On Easy it moves at random, so a beginner can win. Normal thinks a little and sometimes moves at random. Hard looks at captures, safe squares and threats.
