Also called: five in a row online, play gomoku online free, gomoku against the computer, two player gomoku, gomoku

How to play

  1. Open the game and choose Easy, Normal, Hard or 2 Players.
  2. Stones go on the crossings of the lines, not in the squares. On a computer, move over a crossing and a stone shows where it will go. Click to place it.
  3. On a phone, tap once to aim. A ring appears with Tap again to place. Tap again to put the stone down.
  4. Take turns, and Black goes first. Five or more stones in a row wins: across, up and down, or on a slant.
  5. Watch the other side too. Block an open three early, before it becomes a four.
  6. If the board fills up with no five, it is a draw. Tap Undo, or press U, to take back your stone and the reply. On a keyboard, arrows move the ring and Enter or Space places a stone.
