FreeCell Breeze: free FreeCell solitaire online

Play free nowFree · No download · No sign-up

FreeCell is a solitaire where every card is face up from the start, so it is about planning, not luck. Look a few moves ahead, and use the free cells to park a card while you sort out the columns.

On Easy, every deal can be won. Classic gives you any deal, and Hard takes away a free cell. The cards are big and plain, on a calm sea-glass table.

How to play

  1. Open the game and choose Easy, Classic or Hard.
  2. Build each column down from a higher card to a lower one, switching colour each time, like a red 6 on a black 7.
  3. Build the home piles up by suit, from Ace to King. Fill all four to win.
  4. Park a card in a free cell when it is in the way. Easy and Classic have four free cells, and Hard has three.
  5. Tap a card to move it. It goes home first if it can, then to a column, an empty column or a free cell. You can also drag a card or a whole run.
  6. Tap Undo, or press U, to take a move back, and Hint, or H, for the next move. Auto-move sends safe cards home for you.

Questions

Is FreeCell free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. FreeCell plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Can I play FreeCell on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap a card to move it, or drag it. On a computer, use the mouse, or the arrow keys with Enter to play the top card and Space to pick up and put down.

Can every deal be won?

On Easy, yes. Easy uses numbered deals that can be won with just two free cells, so with four you have room to spare. Classic and Hard give you any deal, so some are tough.

What are deal numbers?

Every deal has a number. Open the menu to pick a deal and play it again. The game saves as you go, so if you reload the page you pick up where you left off.
