Forty Thieves Solitaire: free Forty Thieves online

Forty Thieves is a solitaire played with two decks. Forty cards are dealt into ten columns of four, and the rest wait in the deck. It takes thought and a little patience, and it feels good when it comes out.
On Easy, whole runs can move, and every deal can be won. On Medium, you move one card at a time, and the deals can still be won. Hard moves one card at a time and gives you any deal. The cards are big and plain, on a pine table.

How to play
- Open the game and choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Build the ten columns down by suit, like the 6 of hearts on the 7 of hearts. Any card can fill an empty column.
- Build the eight home piles up by suit, from Ace to King. Two decks mean two piles for each suit.
- Tap the deck to turn over a card. You go through the deck just once, so choose your moves with care.
- Tap a card to move it. It goes home first, then onto its suit one higher, then to an empty column. You can also drag. Safe cards fly home on their own.
- Tap Undo, or press U, to take a move back, and Hint, or H, for the next move. D deals. When the deck is gone and nothing useful moves, the game says No more moves.
Tips
- Make your moves on the table before you turn over the next card. You only get one pass through the deck.
- Empty a column early. An empty column takes any card, so it is the most useful space you can make.
- New to the game? Try Easy first, where whole runs move.
