Blackjack, the card game also called 21, played just for fun. It uses play chips only. There is no real money, nothing to buy and nothing to cash out.

Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. A Tip button shows the best move at any point, so it is a friendly way to learn.

How to play

  1. Open the game and pick a table. Each table gives you a stack of play chips and a goal to reach. Clear a table to open the next.
  2. Tap the chips to set your bet, then tap Deal.
  3. Number cards count as their number, face cards as 10, and an Ace as 1 or 11. Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.
  4. Tap Hit to take a card, or Stand to stop. Double doubles your bet for one more card. Split turns a pair into two hands, up to four hands.
  5. An Ace with a ten-value card is a blackjack and pays extra. How much depends on the table.
  6. Not sure what to do? Tap Tip. It names the best move, and that button glows. You can also keep the tip always on in Settings.

Is Blackjack free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. Blackjack plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Does it use real money?

No. Blackjack 21 uses play chips only. There is no real money, nothing to buy and no way to cash out. It is just a card game.

Can I play Blackjack on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap the chips and Deal, then tap Hit, Stand, Double or Split. On a computer, use the mouse, or keys: H to hit, S to stand, D to double and P to split.

What are the five tables?

Each table has a chip goal: Friendly, Garden, Classic, Night and High. Reach the goal to clear a table and open the next. Run out of chips and you can try again for free.
