Trivia Night is a friendly trivia quiz for the whole family. Every question has four answers and only one is right. There are 482 questions in 10 topics: animals, science, geography, history, food, words and books, art and music, sports and games, space, and the human body.

A round is 10 questions with 3 hearts. A wrong answer costs a heart, and you clear the round by answering all 10. There is also a Daily quiz, with 10 questions that are the same for everyone that day. Round 1 is all easy questions, so it is a gentle start.

How to play

  1. Open the game and pick a round. You can play all topics or choose just one. Clearing a round opens the next.
  2. Read the question and tap an answer, then tap Next. On a keyboard, press 1 to 4 or A to D.
  3. A right answer pops green. A wrong one shakes red and shows you the right answer, and it costs one of your 3 hearts.
  4. Lose all 3 hearts and the round ends. Answer all 10 questions with a heart left to clear it.
  5. You earn 1 to 3 stars, by the hearts you keep. Questions you have not seen come first, so you meet fresh ones.
  6. Try the Daily quiz for 10 questions, one from each topic, from easy to hard. There are no hearts, and the game counts your daily streak. Esc or P pauses.

Is Trivia Night free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. Trivia Night plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap an answer with your finger, then tap Next. On a computer, click, or use the keys 1 to 4 and Enter.

Can I lose?

Yes, but gently. You have 3 hearts, and a wrong answer costs one. If they run out the round ends, and you can play it again. The Daily quiz has no hearts at all.

What is the Daily quiz?

It is 10 questions, one from each topic, going from easy to hard. Everyone gets the same quiz that day. The game keeps your streak and a calendar of the days you played.
