Territory Paint: play a territory game online free

Territory Paint is a land-claiming game. You start on a small patch of your own colour. Step out, draw a loop and come back home, and the trail and everything it fences in turns into your land.
Computer painters do the same in their own colours. Reach the goal share of the field before the clock runs out to win. Level 1 is a small field with one shy painter, a goal of 20% and 2 minutes. Later levels bring bigger fields, up to five painters, bolder hunters and a shorter clock.
Also called: territory game, claim the land game, paint the map game, loop capture game, territory paint
How to play
- Open the game and play level 1. Win a level to open the next.
- Steer with the arrow keys or WASD. On a phone, swipe anywhere or tap the on-screen arrows. The game waits for your first move.
- Leave your land to draw a trail, then come back home. The loop and everything inside it becomes yours.
- Never touch your own trail. If you do, the run is over. You cannot turn straight back while you are out.
- Cross a painter's trail to knock them out. Their land clears, and they come back after 3 seconds. If a painter crosses yours, your run ends.
- Claim the goal share of the field before the clock runs out to win. Esc or P pauses.
Tips
- Plan your loop before you leave home. You cannot turn straight back, so know where you will come in.
- Keep your trips short. A quick loop out and back is hard to catch, and the land adds up.
- Watch the other trails. A painter who is out of its land can be knocked out, but your own trail is at risk while you are out, so hurry home.
