Tank Duel: play a tank artillery game online free

Tank Duel is a turn-based artillery game. Two cartoon tanks sit on hills and take turns firing at each other. You play the computer, and the first tank to be knocked out loses.
Each turn you set the angle and the power, mind the wind, and fire. Every blast digs away the hills, with puffs of smoke and dirt and no gore. There are 6 levels, and the computer aims sharper on each one. Your last shot stays drawn as a faint dotted line, to help you adjust.
Also called: tank artillery game, tank game online, aim and fire game, angle and power game, tank duel
How to play
- Open the game and play level 1. Win a level to open the next.
- Set the angle with the left and right arrows or A and D, and the power with up and down or W and S. Hold Shift for bigger steps.
- On a phone or with a mouse, use the plus and minus buttons, or drag on the hills to point the barrel. The farther you drag, the stronger the shot.
- Check the wind. It pushes the shell sideways, and the clouds show which way it blows.
- Press Fire, or Space or Enter. A direct hit does a lot of damage, and a blast nearby does some too. Knock out the computer's tank first to win.
- Look at the dotted line from your last shot, then change the angle or power and fire again. Esc or P pauses.
Tips
- Change one thing at a time. Fix the angle first, then trim the power, and use the dotted line to see where you landed.
- Check the wind before each shot. A stronger wind pushes the shell farther off.
- Near misses count. A blast close to the other tank still does damage, so do not give up on a shot that lands a little short.
