Box Pusher is a sokoban puzzle. You are a little red friend in a warehouse room. Push every wooden box onto a round spot, and the box turns green when it lands.

Boxes can only be pushed, never pulled, so you have to plan where each one goes. There are 60 rooms, from one box up to five. Undo is always there if you push one into trouble.

How to play

  1. Open the game and start at level 1. Solve a level to open the next two.
  2. Tap a square beside you to step or push. You can also swipe, or use the arrow keys or W, A, S and D.
  3. Tap a far square to walk there. Tap a box to walk up to it.
  4. Push every box onto a spot to win. Boxes only push. They never pull.
  5. A box in a corner, or one that can never reach a spot, is stuck. A card appears with Undo push or Restart.
  6. Tap Undo, or press U, to take back a move. Press R to restart the room, and Esc to pause.

Is Sokoban free, and do I need to download anything?

Yes, it is free. Box Pusher plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap beside you to step, tap far away to walk there, or swipe. On a computer, use the arrow keys or W, A, S and D.

What if I get stuck?

If a box is pushed where it can never reach a spot, the game says Stuck. You can undo that push or restart the room. Undo can even take back a Restart.

How do stars work?

Par is the fewest pushes. Match it for three stars. A little over gets two, and anything else gets one.
