Queens Logic: play the queens puzzle online free
Queens Logic is a calm logic puzzle on a grid of colored regions. Place one queen in every row, every column and every color, and no two queens may touch, not even at the corners.
Every board can be solved by logic, with no guessing. There are five levels, from a small 5 by 5 board to a 9 by 9 one, and a daily puzzle that is the same for everyone.

How to play
- Open the game and pick a level, from Gentle to Expert. Or try the Daily puzzle.
- Tap a square once to mark a dot, which means no queen here. Tap again to place a queen. Drag across squares to dot many at once.
- Each row, each column and each color gets exactly one queen.
- Queens never touch, not even at the corners. A queen that clashes turns red and shakes, and nothing is lost.
- Stuck? Tap Hint, and a wrong queen comes off first. Tap Undo to take a move back, or Clear to start over. On a keyboard, press Q for a queen, X for a dot, U to undo and H for a hint.
- Fill every row, column and color to win. Your best time is saved for each level, as long as you did not use a hint.
Tips
- Look at the smallest colored region first. If a color has only one or two squares, a queen has to go in one of them.
- If all of a color's squares sit in one row, that row is spoken for. No other color can put a queen there.
- Squares a queen rules out are shaded for you, which helps while you learn. You can turn that off in Settings.

Is Queens Logic free, and do I need to download anything?
Yes, it is free. Queens Logic plays right in your web browser with no download, no sign-up and no ads on the site. Just open the page and start.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Tap a square for a dot, tap again for a queen, and drag to dot many. On a computer, use the mouse, or the arrow keys with Space.
Do I have to guess?
No. Every board can be solved with logic alone. There is no game over, either. A clashing queen just turns red.
What are the levels?
Gentle is 5 by 5, Easy is 6 by 6, Medium is 7 by 7, Hard is 8 by 8 and Expert is 9 by 9. The Daily puzzle is 8 by 8, with the same board for everyone, plus a streak and a calendar.
