Penalty Shootout: play a penalty kick game online free

Penalty Shootout is a soccer game of penalty kicks. It is night, the floodlights are on, and you and the computer take turns, five kicks each. You shoot at the goal, and then you play the keeper and dive.
Whoever scores more wins, and if it is level, it goes to sudden death. The shootout climbs a ladder of six rounds, from the Warm-up to the Final, against teams like the Meadow Ducks and the Storm Owls. Keepers reach farther and read your shot better each round, and the shooters get sharper.

How to play
- Open the game and play the Warm-up. Win a round to open the next.
- To shoot, swipe up from the ball. Where you let go is where the ball goes.
- A faster swipe is a harder shot, but one that is too hard flies high. A bowed swipe bends the ball and can fool the keeper.
- On a keyboard, use the arrows to aim, Z and X to bend, and hold Space for power.
- To save, tap one of six spots on the goal: high or low, and left, middle or right. The shooter runs up and you dive. On a keyboard, pick with the arrows and press Space.
- Five kicks each, and the most goals wins. If it is level, sudden death follows. Early on, watch the shooter's eyes, because they look where the ball is going.
Tips
- Swipe in one smooth motion. Where your finger lifts is where the ball goes, and the pace sets the power.
- Try a bent shot against good keepers. They read you more in the later rounds, and a bend can fool them.
- As keeper, watch the shooter's eyes. In the Warm-up they always tell the truth, higher up they bluff more often, and in the Final they give nothing away.
