City Defense: play a meteor defense game online free

City Defense is a tap game under a night sky. Meteors fall from space toward six little cities, and you save them by bursting the meteors in mid air.
Tap the sky and a spark flies from your tower and bursts there. Every meteor the burst touches breaks up and bursts too, so a good tap can clear a whole crowd. You have a limited number of sparks, so aim well. Pick Easy with 4 waves, Normal with 7 or Hard with 10.
Also called: meteor defense game, falling meteors game, protect the cities game, sky defense game, city defense
How to play
- Open the game and pick Easy, Normal or Hard.
- Tap or click the sky where you want a spark to burst. The spark flies from your tower to that spot.
- Aim a little ahead of a meteor, because it keeps falling while the spark flies.
- A meteor that a burst touches breaks up and bursts too. Chain them, and each meteor deeper in the chain scores more.
- Sparks are limited in each wave. Spare sparks at the end of a wave score points. Keep one city standing to clear the wave.
- Clear the last wave with a city still standing to win. If the last city falls, the game is over. On a keyboard, the arrows move the aim, Space or Enter fires and Esc pauses.
Tips
- Lead your shots. Tap a bit ahead of a meteor and let it fall into the burst.
- Burst where meteors are close together. One burst can set off a chain and clear several at once.
- Count your sparks. Spare sparks at the end of a wave are worth points, and so is every city you still have.
