Math Cages: play the math cages puzzle free

Math Cages is a number grid with a little arithmetic. Every row and every column holds each number once, and the outlined cages give you a target to make.
A cage might say 3+ or 6x. Every board has exactly one answer and can be worked out by thinking. Start on a small 4 by 4 grid and grow up to 7 by 7.

How to play
- Open the game and pick a level, from Gentle to Expert.
- Each row and each column must have every number once. On a 4 by 4 grid, that means 1 to 4.
- Each outlined cage shows a target and a sign. The numbers in the cage make that target. A cage marked 6x means the numbers multiply to 6.
- A cage with a minus or divide sign has just two numbers.
- Tap a square, then tap a number on the keypad. Notes lets you pencil in small numbers. Erase, Undo and Hint are there too, and Hint takes off a wrong number first.
- Fill the grid correctly to win. A repeated number, or a full cage that misses its target, turns red and shakes. Nothing is lost.
Tips
- A cage with one square is a gift. Put its number in first.
- Use Notes. Pencil in the numbers a cage could hold, then cross them out as the rows and columns fill.
- A multiply cage with a big target has few ways to work. Start there.
