Killer Sudoku: play killer sudoku online free
Killer Sudoku is sudoku with a twist. You get dashed cages, each with a small sum in the corner, and the numbers inside a cage must add up to that sum.
The usual sudoku rules still hold, and a number never repeats inside a cage. Every board has exactly one answer. Easy starts with plenty of numbers filled in, and Expert gives almost none.

How to play
- Open the game and pick Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert.
- Fill each row, column and 3 by 3 box with the numbers 1 to 9, once each.
- The numbers in a dashed cage add up to the small sum in its corner. A number never repeats inside a cage.
- Tap a square, then tap a number. Turn on Notes to jot down maybes. Erase, Undo and Hint are there to help.
- With Show mistakes on, a wrong number shakes red, and three wrong numbers ends the game. You can then try again or start a new puzzle. Turn it off for no limit.
- Fill the grid to win. Your game saves every move. On a keyboard, use the arrows and 1 to 9, N for notes, U to undo and H for a hint.
Tips
- Learn the small cages. Two squares that add to 3 must be 1 and 2, and two that add to 17 must be 8 and 9.
- Every row, column and box adds to 45. If whole cages fill all but one square of a row, the sums tell you the last number.
- Use Notes. In a cage, only certain sets of numbers can reach the sum, so cross out the ones that cannot.

What happens if I make a mistake?
With Show mistakes on, a wrong number shakes red, and three wrong numbers ends the game. You can try again or start a new puzzle. Turn Show mistakes off in Settings and there is no limit.
