Kakuro Sums: play kakuro online free

Kakuro is a number puzzle that works like a crossword made of sums. Fill each white square with a digit from 1 to 9 so that every run of squares adds up to the clue beside it.
No digit may repeat within a run, and every board has exactly one answer. There are four levels, from a small 6 by 6 grid to a big 12 by 12 one.

How to play
- Open the game and pick Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert.
- A clue in a dark square adds up the run next to it. One clue counts the squares to its right, and the other counts the squares below.
- Tap a square, then tap a digit on the pad. Tap the same digit again to clear it.
- Each run must add up to its clue, and no digit can appear twice in a run. For example, 4 in two squares can only be 1 and 3.
- Turn on Notes to jot small digits while you think. A helper line shows the ways the chosen runs can add up. You can hide it in Settings.
- Fill every white square to win. A repeat turns red, a run that cannot add up turns its clue red, and a finished run turns green. On a keyboard, the arrows move, 1 to 9 write, 0 clears, N is notes and U undoes.
Tips
- Look for short runs first. Two squares that add to 3 must be 1 and 2, and two that add to 17 must be 8 and 9.
- Where two runs cross, only a digit that fits both will work. The helper line shows the choices.
- Hint fills one square for you, but a win with a hint does not count as a best time.
