Cell Grow is a game of eating and growing. You are a gold cell with a smile, swimming in a pond full of specks and other cells. Eat the specks and the smaller cells to get bigger.

A ring shows who is who. A green ring means you can eat that cell, and a red ring with a frown means it can eat you. Reach the goal size to win. Level 1 is a calm pond where nobody hunts you, and the 8 levels build up to the giants.

How to play

  1. Open the game and play level 1. Win a level to open the next.
  2. On a computer, point the mouse where you want to swim, or use the arrow keys. On a phone, press or drag toward a spot, and lift your finger to keep swimming there.
  3. Eat the specks and any cell with a green ring. A cell you swallow gives you most of its size.
  4. Keep away from cells with a red ring. If a bigger cell swallows you, the run is over.
  5. Watch the edge of the screen. Red arrows point to big cells that are hunting you from off screen.
  6. Reach the goal size to win the level. Esc or P pauses.

Yes. If a bigger cell swallows you, the run is over, and you can try the level again.

How hard is it?

There are 8 levels. Level 1, Calm pond, has a goal of 44 and nobody hunts you. Level 8, The giants, has a goal of 86 and 15 fast cells that all come after you.
