Bowling Alley: play a bowling game online free

Bowling Alley is a ten-pin bowling game. You play ten frames against the computer, taking turns, and the higher score wins. Scoring is the real thing: a strike is 10 plus your next two balls, and a spare is 10 plus your next ball.
Aim down the lane, set the spin and pull the power bar. The ball hooks late, and a falling pin knocks into its neighbours, so a good ball can sweep the rack. There are five levels, from Rookie to Champion, and the computer throws better on each one.

How to play
- Open the game and pick a level, from Rookie to Champion.
- Drag on the lane to aim. Drag the ball sideways to change where you stand.
- Slide the Spin knob to curve the ball late.
- Pull the power bar back and let go to bowl.
- Knock down all ten pins with the first ball for a strike, or with two balls for a spare. You bowl a frame, then the computer does.
- After ten frames, the higher score wins. On a keyboard, use the arrows to aim, A and D for spin, Up and Down for power and Space to bowl. Esc pauses.
Tips
- Use a little spin. The ball curves late, so you can aim wide and let it hook back toward the pins.
- A harder ball hooks less. For a big hook, ease off the power a little.
- Aim for your spares. A spare is worth 10 plus your next ball, so look at the pins left standing and aim right at them.
