Hoop Shots is a basketball shooting game. You stand in a gym and flick the ball at the hoop. Reach the score target for the round before the clock runs out.

A basket scores 2, a clean swish scores 3, and three in a row puts you on fire, which doubles your points. There are 8 levels, with targets from 12 to 24 points. The spot you shoot from moves, the hoop gets farther away, and later the hoop slides from side to side.

How to play

  1. Open the game and play level 1, Warm-up. Win a level to open the next.
  2. Drag up from the ball and let go. Aim the flick at the hoop, and a longer flick throws farther.
  3. On a keyboard, use Left and Right to aim, with Shift for small steps. Hold Space, Enter or Up and let go at the right power on the swinging meter.
  4. A basket is worth 2 and a clean swish is worth 3. Three baskets in a row put you on fire, and your points double.
  5. The clock starts on your first shot. A ball still in the air at the buzzer counts.
  6. Reach the target to win at once. Come up short at the buzzer and you lose. Esc pauses.

Can I lose?

Yes. If the buzzer sounds before you reach the target, the round is lost, and you can try it again. Winning a level opens the next one.

How hard does it get?

There are 8 levels: Warm-up, Free throws, Around the key, Slow slide, Step back, On the move, Fast break and All-star. Targets rise from 12 to 24 points, the shots get longer, and the hoop slides faster.
