How to play

  1. Open the game. Your first game is Easy, with a goal of 512.
  2. Swipe, or press the arrow keys or W, A, S and D, to slide every tile the same way.
  3. When two tiles with the same number bump, they join and add up.
  4. After every move a new tile appears, so the board fills up. Plan your moves.
  5. Make the goal tile to win. You can keep playing after that, if you like.
  6. Tap Undo to take back a move. Press Esc or P to pause.

Easy uses a bigger 5 by 5 board with five undos. Classic is the usual 4 by 4 board with three undos. Hard is 4 by 4 with more 4s showing up and one undo.

Do I have to reach 2048?

No. You can choose a small win at 512, or the full game at 2048.
