    Questions

    Is this free?

Yes. It is free, it needs no sign-up, and there is nothing to install. It opens ready to use and keeps working without a connection after your first visit.

How do I work out hours worked?

Take the clock-in time from the clock-out time, then take off unpaid breaks. 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM is 8 hours 30 minutes; less a 30-minute lunch, that is 8 hours. The week's total is every day added up.

    What are decimal hours?

Hours written as one number, the way payroll wants them: 37 hours 15 minutes is 37.25 hours, because 15 minutes is a quarter of an hour. The minutes are divided by 60, so 20 minutes is 0.33.

    Does it handle overnight shifts?

Yes. When the out time is earlier than the in time, the shift ends the next morning: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM is 8 hours 30 minutes. If you type 5 with no AM or PM, it picks the reading that makes the shorter shift, and shows it.

Where is my time card kept?

Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere. Share makes a link with the times in it, for you to send to whoever you choose.
