Questions
Is this calculator free?
Yes. It is free, it needs no sign-up, and nothing to install. It opens ready to use and keeps working without a connection after your first visit.
What order does it work things out in?
Brackets first, then powers and roots, then multiply and divide, then add and subtract, left to right. So 2 + 3 × 4 is 14.
How does the % key work?
On its own, 50% is 0.5. After + or −, it means a percent of the number before it, as on a pocket calculator: 200 + 10% is 220.
Where are my sums kept?
Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere. Clear the history any time with its Clear button.
