Questions
What order does it work things out in?
Brackets first, then powers and roots, then multiply and divide, then add and subtract, left to right. Powers stack from the right, so 2^3^2 is 2^9 = 512, and -2^2 is -4.
How does % work?
On its own, 50% is 0.5. After + or −, it means a percent of the number before it, as on a pocket calculator: 200 + 10% is 220.
Degrees or radians?
Tap Deg or Rad above the answer. Degrees is the default, and your choice is kept in your link and on this device.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. Type the sum, press Enter for =, Esc to clear and ^ for powers. asin, acos, atan, sqrt and abs can be typed by name.
Where is my history kept?
Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere. Clear it any time with the Clear button.
