Free printable cryptogram puzzles
A cryptogram hides a quote behind a code, where each letter stands for another. You work out the quote one letter at a time. Each letter gets its own big box with the code letter underneath.
Quotes come from a bank of old favourites, and the author is printed as a clue. Choose how much help you want: four letters filled in, two, or none. The answer page shows the whole quote.

Questions
How do I solve a cryptogram?
Each code letter always stands for the same real letter. Start with short words like A or I, and look for the same letter pairs, such as TH.
Can I get hints?
Yes. Easy fills in four letters for you and Medium fills in two. The author is always printed.
Where do the quotes come from?
They are old, well-known quotations that are in the public domain.
