Questions
How are the groups made?
The names are shuffled fairly, then dealt out one at a time like cards, so every person is equally likely to land in any group and the sizes are as even as possible.
What if the names don't divide evenly?
Some groups get one more. 10 names in 3 groups is 4, 3 and 3. By people per group, groups of 4 for 10 names makes 3 groups of 4, 3 and 3, never a group of 2 left over.
Can I print the groups?
Yes. Tap Print the groups, or Print at the top: only the groups print, one line each.
Is my list sent anywhere?
No. It stays in this browser on this device. If you tap Share, the link holds the list, and the note says so.
