Koi Pond: Keeping & Care saves your progress on your device and has no accounts. Here is what the app does talk to, and why.
Your pond stays on your device
Your ponds, koi, names and progress are saved on your device only. There is no account to make and no sign-in. We run no server that the app talks to, so we hold no copy of your game. Deleting the app deletes your progress, and we cannot recover it.
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob: an ad between visits, and an optional short video you can watch for a treat. Ads are the only reason the app contacts anyone other than Apple.
To pick and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as an advertising identifier, if you allow it), your approximate location worked out from your IP address, how you interact with an ad, and diagnostics such as crashes and performance. That data goes to Google, not to us. It concerns the ad, never your pond.
Koi Pond never asks to track you across other companies’ apps, so Google shows ads that are not based on your activity elsewhere. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you also get a consent prompt, and you can change your choice in Settings, under privacy choices. Declining changes nothing about what the app can do.

Weather
Each pond sits in a real city (Princeville, Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach, Tokyo and Seoul) and shows that city’s weather. The weather comes from Apple Weather. The app asks for the weather of those five fixed places only. It never asks for, or uses, your location. Apple Weather is covered by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

Purchases
Remove Ads is bought through Apple. We never see your payment details, and the purchase is tied to your Apple ID, not to any record we hold. You can restore it in Settings.
Game statistics
The app counts a few game events, such as a pond visited or a koi fed, so we can see what works. Those counts stay on your device. We use no third-party analytics service in this app, and nothing in that log is sent to us.
Children
Koi Pond is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since we collect nothing from anyone, there is nothing to delete on request, but write to us with any concern and a person will answer.
Your rights
GDPR, CCPA and similar laws give you the right to see, correct and delete data a company holds about you. We hold none about you from this app. Data on your device is removed by deleting the app. For data held by Google or Apple, please use their own privacy tools.
