Slice the fruit before it falls. Drop three and the round is over, and cutting a bomb ends it instantly. Tap a fruit to cut it. Keep tapping without pausing and the blade stays down: every fruit you take in one unbroken swipe is worth more than the one before it (10, then 20, then 30...), with bonuses at three, five and eight. Pass close to a fruit's centre for a PERFECT and double points, and keep each move short — a short, placed stroke pays 1.5x while a wild fling across the screen pays 0.6x. On the pad: the D-PAD drags the blade and every drag cuts, so steer it through the fruit and around the bombs. A sweeps the blade wide through wherever it is parked, then springs it back — powerful but unaimed, so it scores at the wild rate. B spends half a full FOCUS meter to slow the fruit to 40% for 1.7 seconds and pay 1.25x on every cut; the meter fills as you slice, faster on PERFECT cuts. START/SELECT or A restarts once the round is over.
