Chase the pocket, tuck for the barrel. A free sports game from Corollary’s starter collection that plays right here in your browser, with nothing to download.
Three waves at three breaks. The wave is a real moving swell: it peels along the reef, stands up over shallow sections and throws its lip. Speed lives in the POCKET, the steep part just ahead of the whitewater — and the pocket runs away from you, so you have to chase it. Ride out on the fat shoulder and you get almost nothing; let the foam catch you and the ride is over. UP and DOWN carve up and down the face: climbing trades speed for height, dropping trades height back for speed. RIGHT trims forward on the front foot for drive; LEFT stalls on the back foot, scrubbing speed so the pocket can catch you up — that is how you get deep enough to be barrelled. A pumps the face for speed, and when you drive up into the lip with real drive it launches you into an air; in the air LEFT and RIGHT spin the board and B grabs the rail, and you must land round and pointed down the line or you swim. B on the water tucks you in behind the curtain: get deep, low and quick while the lip is throwing over your section and you are inside the barrel, which pays more than anything else in the game. PIPELINE is heavy, hollow and short. TRESTLES is a playful rampy wall built for airs. JEFFREYS BAY is a long fast right you race down the line. Press A after the heat to paddle back out.
On a phone or tablet, use the arrows and the A and B buttons under the game. On a computer, use the arrow keys and the A and B keys.
