Nonogram

Paint the hidden picture

Free nonogram puzzles

Nonogram is a picture puzzle you can play free in your browser. Every row and column has a few numbers. Each number says how many squares in a row to paint, in the order shown. Paint them all and a hidden picture appears.

How to play

Tap or click a square to paint it, or drag across several. Switch to Cross to mark a square you know stays blank. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys, press Space to paint and X to cross. Two groups in a line always have at least one blank square between them.

Three hearts, or free play

In the default mode a wrong square is shown at once and costs one of three hearts. In free play there are no hearts, no warnings and Undo takes back your last move. A hint fills in the next square that line logic proves, so it teaches rather than spoils.

Five sizes and a daily picture

Basic is 5x5, Easy 10x10, Medium and Hard 15x15, Expert 20x20. Every puzzle has exactly one answer and can be solved by logic alone, with no guessing. A new 15x15 picture arrives every day.
