Raiders walk a winding road from the west portal to your gate, and every one that reaches it costs you lives - a brute costs two, a warlord five. Arrows move the big build cursor around the field. A opens the build plan, showing the range ring and dots on every stretch of road that tower would watch; a second A raises it. Standing on a tower you already own, A upgrades it to the next level. B swaps between the four towers - BOLT the long-range sniper, MORTAR the slow splash gun that cannot see fliers, FROST that halves the speed of everything in range, and BEACON which has no gun but makes every tower beside it hit harder - or sells the tower under the cursor for sixty percent back. START sends the next wave early and pays two gold for every second of prep you skip.
